Vivek Bhatia

Vivek Bhatia is a seasoned executive currently serving as Managing Director and CEO of TKIL Industries and Chairman of the Board of Directors for TKIL Industries Malaysia since June 2024. In addition, Vivek holds the position of Non-Executive Independent Director and Board Member at GMM Pfaudler, where responsibilities include chairing the Risk Management and Audit Committees. Previous roles include Chairman of the Board at thyssenkrupp Industries Malaysia and Managing Director and CEO at thyssenkrupp Industries India, where leadership contributed to delivering solutions in complex projects across various sectors such as mining, cement, and energy. With significant experience at thyssenkrupp AG, including roles focused on strategy and growth for the Asia Pacific region, Vivek began a career in engineering with Engineers India Limited and gained consulting experience at The Boston Consulting Group. Educational qualifications include an M.Tech. in Energy & Environmental Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a PGDM in Strategy & Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
