Anirban Mukhopadhyay has extensive work experience in the finance and accounts field. Anirban is currently the Head of Finance for GMR Energy Limited, where they oversee the Thermal Power Generation SPV & Power Distribution business. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Finance & Accounts at Vatika Group.
Anirban also has significant experience at GMR Energy Limited, where they held multiple roles. Anirban was the Head of Finance & Accounts for the Hydro Business and also served as a General Manager for Project Finance in the Hydro Business.
Earlier in their career, Anirban worked as the Chief Financial Officer at GMR Bajoli Holi Hydro Power Pvt Ltd, and as an Associate General Manager of Finance in the Hydro Business at GMR Energy Ltd.
Anirban has also held leadership positions at CESC Chandrapur Power Project, where they were the Head of Finance, and at Focus Brands, a Jubilant Group Company, where they were the Designated CFO. Anirban has held roles in finance and designated positions at Network Programs, a Jubilant Group Company, and BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd, a Reliance Energy Group Company. Anirban'scareer began at Noida Power Company Ltd., a subsidiary of CESC Ltd, where they served as an Assistant Manager of Finance.
Anirban Mukhopadhyay obtained a B Com (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Calcutta in 1989. Anirban later became a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1995, specializing in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Process and Transaction Controls, and Business Management.
