Ir. Mohd Thushan Abdul Majid

Ir. Mohd Thushan Abdul Majid has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ir. Mohd Thushan began their career in 1996 as a Senior Protection Engineer with Tenaga Nasional Berhad's Transmission Division. Over the years, they held various roles within the division, including Branch Manager in Johor and Regional Manager in Penang. From 2010 to 2014, they served as the State Manager in Kuala Lumpur, overseeing asset maintenance. In 2014 and 2015, they led the Transformation Unit as the Head within the Transmission Division. In 2016 and 2017, they held the position of Regional Manager for Asset Development before joining GMR Energy Limited. At GMR Energy Limited, they were appointed as the General Manager in charge of O&M and later served as the Deputy COO. In 2018, they joined GMR Tenaga O&M Pvt. Ltd. as the Chief Operating Officer. Their most recent role, starting from February 2020, is Head of Business Strategy & Performance in the Grid Division at Tenaga Nasional Berhad.

Ir. Mohd Thushan Abdul Majid obtained their Engineer's Degree in Electrical - Power Systems from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1996. Ir. Mohd Thushan then pursued a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering- Power at UNITEN (University Tenaga Nasional) from 2005 to 2006. Prior to their tertiary education, they attended B.M. High School, Bukit Pertajam, Penang from 1986 to 1988, and completed their primary education at SRK Stowell- Bukit Mertajam, Penang from 1980 to 1985. In 1989 and 1990, they attended Sekolah Dato' Abdul Razak, Seremban for secondary school.
