Manoj Kumar Singh has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance and infrastructure sectors. Manoj Kumar started their career at Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation as a Deputy Manager, where they focused on asset management and infrastructure financing. Manoj Kumar played a key role in the study of infrastructure financing in Gujarat and the formation of Gujarat Infrastructure Fund and Infrastructure Finance Company Gujarat Limited.
In 2001, Manoj joined GMR Group as a General Manager, where they achieved notable accomplishments such as raising $2.5 billion in equity and $3 billion in debt for various projects. Manoj Kumar also led the project finance department and successfully achieved financial closure for four projects within record time. Additionally, they were involved in structuring securitization transactions for two annuity highway projects and played a role in evaluating opportunities in the airport, road, and energy sectors.
In 2008, Manoj was promoted to the position of Director of Business Development and Asset Management at GMR Group. Manoj Kumar held this role until 2012 and was responsible for managing relationships with strategic investors and raising equity through capital markets. During this time, they successfully raised funds through a QIP and a rights issue, as well as led the largest and longest tenor FCCB issuance out of India.
Most recently, Manoj served as the Chief Financial Officer at GMR Energy Limited. Manoj Kumar started in August 2017 and is currently in this role.
Manoj Kumar Singh pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication from Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology during 1988-1992. Manoj Kumar then went on to obtain an MBA from South Gujarat University from 1993-1995.
