Dr. Vijay Sharma

Dr. Vijay Sharma has a diverse work experience in the aviation and cargo industry. Dr. Vijay currently holds the position of Vice President and Head of Aviation Services Business at Delhi International Airport Ltd, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GMR Group and held various roles including Head of Cargo, Head of Business Integration, and Head of Strategy and Product Development in the Commercial Aero-Cargo Business. Dr. Vijay joined GMR Group in 2008. Before that, they were a Manager at Engineers India Limited from 1994 to 2008.

Dr. Vijay Sharma holds a B.E. and M.E. in Civil Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Dr. Vijay also earned an MBA in Strategy from the Faculty of Management Studies at the University of Delhi. Additionally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Project Risk Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
