Philip Bies

Philip Bies serves as the Technical Director at Gauss Management Research & Engineering (GMRE Inc.) since October 2021. Concurrently, Philip holds the position of V-22 Instructor Pilot in the Marine Corps Reserve, training MV-22B pilots in aircraft tactical employment and managing pilot proficiency. Previous experience includes serving as a Product Development Engineering Lead and V-22 Systems Engineer at Raytheon Intelligence & Space from September 2017 to October 2021, as well as a V-22 Instructor Pilot in the Marine Corps from February 2010 to September 2016. Philip Bies earned a Master of Science in Systems Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
