John Mattingly

John Mattingly possesses extensive experience in the mining and construction industries, currently serving as the Ohio Valley Manager for GMS Mine Repair since February 2010. Responsibilities include overseeing projects in Ohio and West Virginia, along with previous roles as Project Manager focused on underground construction and as an Underground Mine Foreman in Montana, where management of crews involved sealing portions of the mine and installing ventilation controls. Prior to GMS, John Mattingly owned J.M. Contracting, specializing in new home construction and light commercial projects. Experience also includes serving as New Mexico Mine Foreman for BHP Billiton, leading crew operations related to longwall mining. John Mattingly graduated from Southern High School and has a background in Business/Managerial Economics.
