Cerwyn Chiew is a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington's Mechanical Engineering department since March 2020, with prior experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at CIMS Actuator Laboratory from October 2017 to September 2022. Cerwyn has expertise in CAD design, machining, assembly, and testing of experimental electromagnetic systems, and has recently focused on troubleshooting LabVIEW NI DAQ systems for piezo actuator control. Additional experience includes coordinating events for University of Washington Transportation Services and conducting research on SWCNT-based sensors in the Nanomanufacturing Lab. Cerwyn holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Washington, along with early education in the American Transfer Credit Programme at Universiti Teknologi MARA.
