Gerard Nijsse

Gerard Nijsse is a highly experienced technology professional currently serving as Lead System Architect at GN Group since April 2006, leading initiatives in software development and system architecture with a focus on stakeholder involvement and strategic alignment. Prior roles at GN Group include Senior Software Architect, Principal Research Engineer, Lead Software Architect, CTO Architect, Senior DSP SW Developer, and DSP SW Developer, emphasizing expertise in machine learning algorithms, software system structure, and proof-of-concept transitions. Prior to GN Group, Nijsse operated as a computer journalist and authored several books during tenure at Nijsse Computeradvies from September 1997 to November 2012. Nijsse holds a Ph.D. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from the University of Twente and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
