Julio Marcante

Julio Marcante has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Julio began their career as a Costs and Field Engineer at Amper Construções Elétricas in 1996 and later held various positions at UTE Pantanal Energia, including Maintenance Manager, Planning and Development Manager, Engineering Manager, Plant Engineer, and Operation Engineer. Julio then worked as an Engineering Manager and Maintenance Manager at El Paso Energy. Julio also served as a Plant Manager at Neoenergia and held several roles at Eneva, including Owner Construction Manager, Plant Manager, Commissioning Manager, and President Director/Technical Director. Julio'smost recent role was at GPE - Global Participações em Energia, where they served as the President Director (Diretor Presidente) of Companhia Energética Candeias CEC. Currently, Julio is working at GNA - Gás Natural Açu as the Deputy Operations Director (Diretor Adjunto de Operações) and COO - Diretor de Operação e Implantação.

Julio Marcante completed their education at the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2004 and 2005, they pursued a Post-Graduation Degree in Finance and Control from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, specializing in an MBA.
