Danny Schmidt is an experienced filmmaker specializing in science and natural history, currently serving as Director and Director of Photography for various productions since 2014. Notable roles include Director of Photography for National Geographic’s "America's National Parks" and Multimedia Producer for the National Science Foundation's Wildfire PIRE Project. Danny Schmidt has also directed and produced episodes for the forthcoming nonfiction TV series "Wild Hope" and contributed to acclaimed projects such as PBS’s "Indian Relay." With an MFA in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University and a B.Sc. in Environmental Geography/G.I.S from the University of Utah, Danny Schmidt brings a strong educational background to the field of documentary filmmaking.
