Meg Ford

Meg Ford is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer and Technical Lead at Pixability since July 2019, Meg has also held roles as Back End Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer. Involved with the GNOME Foundation since 2011, Meg's contributions include directing projects and participating in Google Summer of Code internships, notably developing a GStreamer-based sound recorder application and working on GNOME's Documents Application. Meg's career includes positions at various companies such as Mitel, ShoreTel, and Corvisa, along with academic roles at Northeastern Illinois University. Meg holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
