Yongan Zhao

Yongan Zhao has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering and research. From October 2021 to the present, they have been a Principal Software Engineer at GNS Healthcare, where they utilize their skills and expertise. Prior to this, from April 2019 to September 2021, Yongan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at GNS Healthcare. From November 2017 to March 2019, they held the role of Software Engineer at the same organization. Before joining GNS Healthcare, Yongan worked as an R&D Engineer at Seven Bridges from March 2016 to October 2017. Yongan also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Indiana University Bloomington from September 2009 to December 2015. Yongan's earlier career includes a Summer Research Internship at Dow AgroSciences in 2013 and a position as a Software Engineer at Beijing Lingtu from May 2007 to August 2008.

Yongan Zhao completed a Master's Degree in Bioinformatics at Indiana University Bloomington from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained another Master's Degree in Computer Science from Northwestern Polytechnical University, which they attended from 2004 to 2007. Yongan Zhao then pursued further education at Indiana University Bloomington, where they are currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Bioinformatics.
