Bernardo Horta E Costa

Prior to co-founding Gnubiotics, Bernardo worked as an investment banker for Altium Capital and Haitong Bank. He advised both on buy and sell side transactions in several sectors including TMT, Agribusiness, Chemicals, and IT totaling over $1 billion. Prior to investment banking, Bernardo worked in project financing at EDP Renewables, a leading renewable energy company, where he helped structure financing for wind farms in Romania with a total financing value of EUR 188 million. Bernardo also worked at PWC as a strategy consultant and an auditor. Bernardo enjoys many sports from sailing, golfing and skiing to Argentine padel ball. He enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures and is the proud pet parent of labradors.
