Zachary Barnett

Zachary Barnett has a diverse work experience in various industries. Zachary served as the Head of Operations at gny.io Limited, where they coordinated efforts between the Board of Directors, Executive Suite, and Technical Teams to lead the way on decentralized Machine Learning through the Blockchain. Zachary also held the role of Director of Social Impact at the same company, leading the creation of charitable partnerships to showcase the versatility and power of the technology for social good.

Barnett was a Partner at Covalent Bioscience, starting in December 2019. Zachary founded and served as the Executive Director of the Abzyme Research Foundation for almost a decade, raising funds for HIV/AIDS research and leading campaigns to bring a promising HIV vaccine candidate to the FDA.

Additionally, Barnett was one of the Co-Directors of EyeLevel BQE, a gallery and artist platform, and worked as an Events Activator for The Rose Group Public Relations, producing and executing large-scale events for various brands.

Zachary Barnett has a diverse education history. In 1998, they earned a high school diploma from The American School in Japan. Following that, they attended McGill University from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an undergraduate degree in Architecture. From 2003 to 2006, Zachary pursued Industrial Design at Concordia University, focusing on Industrial Design and Communication Design. Recently, in 2022, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed a Professional Certificate in the Applied Data Science Program.
