Global Head of Customer Services at Go Instore (Now Emplifi)

Emma Smythe has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Emma is currently the Global Head of Customer Services at Go Instore, an Emplifi company. In this role, they utilize HD live video technology to connect online customers with in-store experts, creating a data-driven and immersive experience. Prior to this, Emma held the position of Director of Support and Hosting at Artificial Solutions from 2011 to 2021. Emma was responsible for overseeing support and hosting operations.

Before joining Artificial Solutions, Emma served as the Head of Global Support at Alterian from 2008 to 2010. Emma also worked at Mediasurface as the Global Support Services Manager from 2006 to 2008. Emma began their career at Artemis Corporation in 2000, where they served as a Partner Support Services professional until 2006.

Earlier in their career, Emma held the position of Director of Operations at MicroAge, Purchasing Manager and Operations Manager at Bell & Watson Ltd, and Campaign Coordinator at IBM. Emma has demonstrated expertise in operations management, purchasing, sales and marketing, and campaign coordination throughout their career.

Emma Smythe completed their Foundation Level at CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply from 1995 to 1996. Emma also earned a Foundation Certification in ITIL. Emma then attended the University of West London, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies.
