Allan is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Go Jauntly, a walking and wayfinding app aimed at helping people discover and share outdoor adventures. Prior to that, Allan worked as a Freelance Swift Developer, where they led app development for Go Jauntly, initiated projects from scratch, and defined app architecture. Allan also worked as a Senior Mobile Developer at AllofUs, where they led the engineering and technology choices for iPhone and iPad applications, provided technical guidance to clients, and developed prototypes alongside the user experience team. Allan has also worked as a Mobile Developer at Nice Agency and as a Mobile & Web Developer at Great Fridays, where they achieved notable success in iOS development.
Allan Weir attended The University of Huddersfield from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a BA degree in Interactive Multimedia. During this time, they focused on web development, graphic design, and interaction design. Before their university studies, from 2004 to 2006, Allan attended Durham Sixth Form Centre. Although they did not pursue a degree at this institution, they studied Sport Studies, Biology, and Classical Civilisation.
