Jeff Goos has over 20 years of experience in the RF engineering field. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Sr. RF Engineer for Littlefeet, where they developed frequency-translating GSM basestation repeaters for the 800/900/1800/1900 MHz bands. In 2002, they worked as a Sr. RF Engineer for both CIAN Networks and Magis Networks, where they tested modulation for 802 and designed a MiniPCI implementation of a 5GHz radio chipset, respectively. From 2004 to 2008, they worked as an RF HW & RF Module designer and Sr. RF HW & Applications Engineer at ST Microelectronics and Sequoia Communications, respectively. In 2009, they worked as a Sr. RF Engineer at Rayspan Corporation and an RF Amplifier designer at Aethercomm. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Principal RF Engineer at On Ramp Wireless (now Ingenu), where they redesigned PAs and designed electric and water meter products to use their system. Finally, since 2019 they have been a Sr. RF Engineer at RADAR, where they are designing, developing, testing, and qualifying a 4 sector very high performance RFID system that uses the 900MHz ISM band.
Jeff Goos received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida in 1986, with a focus on Analog circuit design. In 2006-2007, they attended UC San Diego for Analog IC design, but did not receive a degree.
