Khristopherson Aguero

Khristopherson Aguero has a diverse work experience in various industries. Khristopherson started their career as a Technical Drawing (CAD-CAE) Assistant at Universidad de Costa Rica in 2011. Khristopherson then worked as a Dynamics Assistant and Thermodynamics Assistant at the same university from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they interned as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Ad Astra Rocket Company, where they gained experience in finite element analysis and simulation.

Later in 2014, they joined Philip Morris International as a Mechanical Engineer - Maintenance, where they developed and implemented maintenance guidelines for industrial equipment and optimized processes for reducing waste in manufacturing lines. Khristopherson also had exposure to Lean Six Sigma.

In 2015, Khristopherson worked as a Proposal Engineer at Emerson, where they configured and prepared instrumentation project proposals for customers from various industries. Khristopherson also collaborated with sales engineers and representatives to ensure the delivery of the best engineering solutions.

From 2015 to 2017, they served as an Oil&Gas Maintenance Engineer at Atmos International. In this role, they developed standard documents and procedures for the maintenance department and implemented a standardized database structure for project management. Khristopherson also prepared documentation for functional design specifications and tests.

Khristopherson then transitioned to YUXTA Energy in 2017, where they worked as a Business Development and Project Management professional. Khristopherson generated sales through outbound activities and referrals, managed customer account relationships, and coordinated with utility companies, banks, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders for the successful implementation of projects.

Most recently, they joined GoSolar in 2019 as Business Development and Operations professional. Khristopherson designed corporate/sales presentations, identified prospects, and managed the complete project lifecycle, from proposal to delivery. Khristopherson also engaged in negotiations and opportunities for developing utility-scale solar, energy storage, and distributed generation projects. In April 2021, they assumed the role of Head of Sales at GoSolar.

Khristopherson Aguero's education history begins in 2007 and 2008 when they obtained a High School Diploma from Colegio Científico de Costa Rica with a focus on sciences. Khristopherson then went on to attend Universidad de Costa Rica UCR from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2019, Khristopherson enrolled in an Online Specialization program at Columbia University, focusing on Construction Management, which they completed in 2020.

Khristopherson also earned certifications in Construction Cost Estimating and Control, Construction Scheduling, and Construction Finance from Columbia University in April 2020. In April 2020, they completed courses in Introduction to Corporate Finance, Introduction to Marketing, and Managing Social and Human Capital offered by the University of Pennsylvania. In May 2020, they also earned a certification in Introduction to Operations Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
