Taylor Wakefield

Co-Founder, COO at Teleport

Taylor Wakefield started their career at Bear Stearns where they worked for 10 years in the Structured Finance and Public Finance groups. Taylor then co-founded Profista, Inc. in 2008, where they developed a web-based application called Dunegrass. In 2010, they co-founded Mailgun, which provides a web-service API for managed email servers and was later acquired by Rackspace in 2012. At Rackspace, Taylor served as the Director and helped grow Mailgun into a multi-million dollar business. Taylor was also the site leader for the Rackspace San Francisco Office. In 2015, Taylor co-founded Teleport, a company that offers open source products for secure access to servers, applications, and data.

Taylor Wakefield attended MUHS from 1989 to 1993. After completing high school, Taylor went on to study at Boston College from 1993 to 1997, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
