Vivek Srikantan

Vivek Srikantan has an extensive work experience, starting in 1999 as a Senior Software Engineer at Novell. Vivek then worked at PicoPeta Simputers Pvt. Ltd. in various roles including Senior Manager - Product Delivery and Fellow. From 2006 to 2009, Vivek served as the Associate Vice President - Engineering at Geodesic Ltd. Vivek then joined Phoenix Technologies as the Senior Director of Engineering, Hyperspace. In 2010, they became the Section Manager of the Client Virtualization Team at Hewlett-Packard. Vivek joined Amazon in 2012 and held positions such as Software Development Manager for Prime Student, Contextual Advertisement Platform and Native Shopping Ads, and Digital Music Webstore. In 2020, they transitioned to Google as an Engineering Manager for Google Workspace. Currently, Vivek serves as the VP Engineering at Yubi since April 2022.

Vivek Srikantan has a diverse education history. Vivek completed their Post Graduate Program in Strategy and Finance (PGSEM) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Engineering (ME) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) between 1997 and 1999. Vivek also holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, which they earned from 1993 to 1997. Vivek completed their pre-university education at MES PU College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as part of their Pre-University Course (PUC) from 1991 to 1993. Lastly, Vivek attended Poornaprajna Education Centre from 1978 to 1991 and obtained their SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate).
