Myriam Baïssa has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Myriam currently holds the position of Vice President, Strategic Finance at Go1, a role they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director, Strategic Finance at Go1 from August 2022 to July 2023.
Before joining Go1, Myriam worked at Deputy as the Senior Director, Strategic Finance and Operations from April 2022 to July 2022, and as the Director, Strategic Finance and Operations from January 2021 to April 2022.
Myriam also gained valuable experience at Optus, one of Australia's largest telecommunications providers, where they served as the Manager, Corporate Finance and Strategy from June 2019 to December 2020. At Optus, Myriam played a vital role in M&A projects and financial planning, leading the implementation of the carve out of Optus passive mobile infrastructure into a new entity called Australia Tower Network (ATN).
Myriam's entrepreneurial spirit led their to found and serve as the CEO of Akhal Beauty, a socially conscious skincare enterprise. For over two years, they led the company, which supported over 200 women artisans and used a portion of sales to fund education for over 100 girls in Morocco.
Early in their career, Myriam worked at prestigious financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs and UBS. At Goldman Sachs, they held the role of Associate, Investment Banking from December 2012 to July 2015, gaining expertise in structuring and executing transactions. Myriam also served as an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS from March 2011 to October 2012, and as an Investment Banking Intern at UBS from April 2010 to September 2010.
Myriam Baïssa completed their High School Diploma at Lycée Lyautey from 2003 to 2004. Myriam then pursued a Preparatory Class for the French "Grandes Écoles" in Economics at Lycée Montaigne from 2004 to 2005. From 2005 to 2008, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Sciences Po. Subsequently, they attended Northwestern University from 2007 to 2008 as part of the Harvey Kapnick Business Institutions Program. Finally, from 2008 to 2011, Myriam Baïssa earned their Master's degree in Finance & Strategy from Sciences Po.
