Richard Stubbs has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the sales and events industry. Richard most recently served as the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at Go2Africa. Prior to that, they were the Commercial Director at Vuka Group, where they worked closely with the CEO and Board to implement company strategy and oversee the sales process. Richard also has significant experience with Clarion Events, where they held multiple roles including Commercial Director for Africa and Group Director, responsible for business planning, financial forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities. Earlier in their career, Richard owned and managed their own sales and marketing consulting company, and also worked as a General Manager in customer service and sales at Amatola Tours. Richard began their career in the Royal Air Force as an RAF Regiment Gunner.

Richard Stubbs attended Castle Rushen High School. After completing high school, they enrolled at Isle of Man College from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Construction Management.
