Denis Kaffoko

Denis Kaffoko is an experienced professional in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) with a robust background in leadership and strategic planning. Currently serving as the Deputy Program Director of MEAL at GOAL Global since March 2020, Denis has led the design and implementation of a comprehensive MEAL strategy for Uganda across multiple field offices. Prior roles include Country M&E Manager at PEAS, where strategic leadership was provided in M&E planning and budget oversight, and Research and Learning Coordinator at GOAL Global, focusing on M&E frameworks for sanitation projects. Denis has also held positions at AMREF as Programme Manager for M&E and as Project Data Manager at both the Infectious Diseases Institute and the International Epidemiological Database to Evaluate HIV/AIDS. Denis holds an MSc in Development Economics from Uganda Martyrs University, a Post Graduate Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from Makerere University, and a degree in Statistics with a computing option from the same institution.
