District Partnerships at Goalbook

Jon Mitchell has been working in the education field since 2001. Jon began their career as a Teacher's Aide at Five Oaks Preschool in Durham, NC. From there, they moved on to be an On-Site Coordinator at Appalachian State University, where they were responsible for coordinating the activities and logistics for the after-school tutoring program (5th Dimension). In 2009, Jon became an Assistant Baseball Coach at Bull City Little League in Durham, NC. In 2011, they took on the role of Camp Director at Wheels Summer Camp, where they were responsible for overseeing and engaging with a diverse group of rising first graders. In 2014, Jon began working as a Teacher at St Mark the Evangelist School in Harlem, NY. In 2015, they took on two roles: Implementation Specialist at Wowzers, where they worked with district and school leaders to guide them on how to use Wowzers to provide students with personalized learning experiences; and District Partnerships at Goalbook, where they partnered with K-12 leaders in over 700 districts across 47 states to improve student outcomes.

Jon Mitchell obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Appalachian State University between 2007 and 2009. Jon then obtained their Professional Educator's License from the North Carolina State Board of Education in January 2010.
