Ugur Yigit

Ugur Yigit is an experienced data and AI professional, currently serving as the Data + AI Lead and Founder at Goaltech since April 2017, focusing on consultancy for cloud-based data engineering and data science solutions. Previously, Ugur held roles as a Data Consultant at Nationwide Building Society, and as a Senior Consultant at Rolls-Royce, where efforts included the migration of legacy systems and development of data lakes. As the Principal Consultant and Founder of Rakvel, Ugur provided complex data warehousing and business intelligence solutions to leading telecommunications and banking institutions in Turkey. Earlier career accomplishments include leadership in business intelligence at Şekerbank and software development roles at notable firms. Ugur holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Hacettepe University.
