Denise Pope, CFRE

Denise Pope, CFRE has over 25 years of experience in the field of philanthropy and fundraising. Denise began their career in 1993 as an Account Manager at BLF Marketing, where they managed comprehensive campaigns for 15 clients. From 1994 to 1996, they served as the Director of Communications at St. Catharine College, preparing and approving public information releases and creating college publications. From 1996 to 2010, they worked at HSHS St. John's Hospital as Chief Development Officer and Coordinator of Philanthropic Development, formulating and directing a comprehensive philanthropic development program. From 2010 to 2019, they were the Executive Vice President and Chief Philanthropy Officer at Tidewell Hospice, leading their philanthropy and marketing/communications programs and teams. Most recently, they have been the Vice President and Senior Consultant at Gobel, the leading consulting firm in healthcare philanthropy.

Denise Pope, CFRE holds a MA in Communications from the University of Illinois Springfield and a BA in Public Relations from Western Kentucky University. In November 2008 and December 2008, they obtained their Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and CFRE Certification from CFRE International.
