Marie Demaerel has a wealth of experience in content marketing and digital strategy. Marie began their career in 2011 as a Fair and Exposition Manager for CoolingWays, Ecothermia & Paradigma. In 2014, they were a Marketing and Communications Trainee for Living Tomorrow and a Creative Strategy Trainee for Kindred Spirits Consulting. Marie then co-founded Swiped, a pop-up agency focused on New Social Media, in 2015. That same year, they also became a Digital Coordinator for ZappyOuders - Zappy Parents and a Data & Content Strategist and Teamleader for Libelle Online at Sanoma Media Belgium. In 2018, they took on the role of Digital Commercial Coordinator for Libelle & Femmes D'Aujourdhui at the Roularta Media Group. In 2019, they joined MMBSY as a Content Marketeer and is currently a Content Marketeer at Goboony.
Marie Demaerel attended the University of Antwerp from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Marie then attended the Belgian Advertising School from 2014 to 2015 for a program in Advertising. In 2017, they attended ENABEL - Belgian Development Agency for a program in Development Economics and International Development.
