Alex Mason

Alex Mason has extensive work experience in demand generation and marketing. Starting in 2003, Alex worked as an Advertising Sales Executive at The Leeds Guide before moving on to WordWide Communications Ltd as a New Business Marketing Executive. In 2005, Alex joined HarperCollins Publishers as a Marketing Executive.

In 2006, Alex became a Marketing Manager at Mergermarket, focusing on the EMEA region. Alex then joined Dow Jones in 2008 as a Corporate and Media Marketing Manager for the UK, Middle East, and South Africa.

From 2010 to 2020, Alex worked at Egencia in various roles, including Marketing Manager - UKI, Senior Manager of Marketing Communications - EMEA, Director of Marketing Operations - EMEA, Director of Acquisition Marketing - Global, and finally as Director of Global Demand Campaigns.

In 2020, Alex joined GoCardless as a Director of Demand Generation and later progressed to the role of Senior Director and currently holds the position of VP, Accelerate Revenue & Demand Generation.

Throughout Alex's career, they have demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in revenue acceleration, demand generation, and marketing operations.

Alex Mason graduated from the University of Leeds in 2003 with a BA Hons in Philosophy and Politics. In September 2018, they obtained an ABM Certification: Expert from Demandbase.
