Jacob Fricker

Jacob Fricker has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Jacob is currently working as a Security Engineer at GoCardless since March 2023. Prior to this, Jacob worked at e2e-assure Ltd as a Cyber Security Consultant from February 2021 to December 2021 and as a Cyber Security Analyst from July 2019 to February 2021. Jacob also held the position of Cyber Security Analyst at Secrutiny Limited from July 2018 to June 2019. Jacob began their professional career as a Technology Analyst (Placement) at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from June 2016 to July 2017. Before venturing into the cybersecurity industry, they gained customer service experience as a Customer Advisor at Dixons Retail from April 2012 to October 2014.

Jacob Fricker has a strong educational background in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Jacob completed their Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Computing and Security from Bournemouth University between 2014 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT from Wiltshire College from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Jacob has also earned several certifications. In April 2021, they obtained the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification from GIAC Certifications. In June 2020, they received the ICSI | Certified Network Security Specialist (CNSS) certification from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK. These certifications further enhance their knowledge and expertise in the field of cybersecurity.
