Sharrar W. has a background in software engineering and technical support. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer - iOS for GoCheck Kids. Prior to that, they worked as an iOS Engineer for Various Projects from 2021. In 2020, they were selected for a full stack JavaScript training program at CUNY Tech Prep, where they learned React, Node + Express, and PostgreSQL, as well as industry best practices. In 2019, they worked as a Technical Support Intern for the NYC Department of Education.

Sharrar W. attended Brooklyn College from 2017 to 2021 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
