Robert oversees the Asia-Pacific territory of Horwath HTL, the hotel, tourism and leisure consulting speciality group of Crowe Horwath International, with offices in Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta. With Horwath HTL since 1988, he has developed an extensive background and expertise in the region’s developing hotel and tourism industries through his involvement in the planning and analysis of more than 400 projects located throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Robert has amassed over 35 years of experience including work in hotel operations with Pacific Plaza Hotels at various properties in northern California, and conducting market and financial analyses for hotels, resorts, cruise ships, convention centres, conference centres and restaurants while with Laventhol and Horwath in San Francisco.
He is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences around the region, and has published numerous research articles in regional industry publications.
