Amanda McAlister

Amanda McAlister has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amanda began their career in 2011 as a Sales Manager at Residence Inn by Marriott. In 2012, they transitioned to a role as an Operations Manager at LA Fitness. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as an Elementary School Teacher at various school districts. Following that, Amanda joined Oakwood Worldwide as an Account Coordinator from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, they joined GoCo.io, Inc. as an Account Executive, where they connected with HR professionals and SMB owners to understand their struggles and goals, and helped them determine how GoCo could address their needs. Recently, they advanced to the role of Senior Account Executive and also served as a Pod Leader at GoCo.io, Inc.

Amanda McAlister obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management from Texas Tech University, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. In 2014, they obtained a Texas Educator Certificate in Generalist EC-6 from the Texas State Board of Education. Additionally, in 2015, they obtained a Texas Educator Certificate in English as a Second Language (ESL) from the same institution. In 2018, Amanda enrolled in Skillcrush and completed the Break Into Tech Blueprint, which included studies in WordPress, Web Design & Development, and UX/UI Design. In 2019, Amanda pursued further education by enrolling in Udemy's The Complete Digital Marketing Course, focusing on Digital Marketing, SEO, and Social Media Marketing Strategies. Amanda also holds a high school diploma from Lamar High School, where they attended from 2003 to 2007.
