Hywel Rees

Hywel Rees has a diverse background in software development and engineering. Hywel started their career at Cap Gemini in 2002 as a Software Developer and Support Analyst. Hywel then moved on to HP in 2006 as a Service Developer Level 2 before joining Comtec in 2011 as a Developer. In 2014, they worked at Logic Software as a Software Developer and then at Creditsafe as a Web Developer. In 2017, they transitioned to GoCompare.com Group plc as a Senior Software Engineer, and later took on the roles of Senior Application Developer and Principal Engineer at GoCompare.

Hywel Rees completed their education at the University of South Wales from 2000 to 2005, graduating with a degree in Computer Science with a 2.2 grade. Prior to this, they attended Llanedeyrn/Marlborough from 1983 to 1995, though details on their degree and field of study are unspecified. In 2015, they obtained a certification as an Umbraco Certified Developer (Level 2) from Umbraco.
