Kevin Washington

Kevin Washington is an experienced software developer in test with a diverse background in quality assurance and automation. Currently serving as a Senior Software Developer in Test at Consensus since April 2024, Kevin previously held roles at Babylon and Apple, where significant contributions included leading the development of JAVA frameworks and enhancing test coverage. At Babylon, Kevin's leadership resulted in a 75% increase in test coverage through the use of Cucumber BDD and RestAssured. At Apple, Kevin developed automation frameworks for backend REST API transactions. Prior experience at IBM encompassed roles as Quality Assurance Product Lead and Customer Advocate/Developer, where Kevin directed testing strategies and engineered proof of concept applications using IBM Watson technology. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Grambling State University.
