John Kidman

John Kidman is an accomplished veterinary professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Regional Head Vet at Goddard Veterinary Group since February 2023, John provides support and guidance to clinical teams while enhancing clinical assurance and improving operational efficiency. As Co-Founder and Race Director of Trailscape since January 2014, John promotes off-road running among urban populations. Previously, John held the position of Senior Clinical Director at Best Friends Veterinary Group from November 2018 to February 2023, overseeing clinical standards for a network of over 20 sites. John has also served as Head Veterinary Surgeon at Village Vet, managing a busy 24-hour hospital, and has a solid foundational background as a Veterinary Surgeon in various practices. Educational qualifications include a BVSc in Veterinary Science and a CertVBM in Veterinary Business Management from the University of Liverpool, along with ongoing studies in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery through ANZCVS.
