AVP of Youth Services at Goddard Riverside

Damion Samuels is an accomplished professional in youth services and community engagement with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Associate Vice President for Youth Services at Goddard Riverside since June 2021, Samuels has also held the position of Senior Director of Youth Services and Community Engagement at Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center since October 2018. Previous roles include Division Director for Workforce Development at Brooklyn Community Services, Director at ROADS Charter High Schools, and various directorial positions at organizations such as Fedcap and CASES. Samuels began a career in youth development at The Door and Children’s Aid Society, contributing to programs that support educational and workforce development. Samuels earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia between 1990 and 1995.
