Michael Shimbo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the media, entertainment, and consumer product industries. Michael is the Founder and Executive Partner of Shimbo Works, LLC, an independent executive consultancy. In this role, they provide strategy, business development, new partnerships, content strategy and production, media campaigns, and product marketing services to clients such as Red Bull, David Beckham, Anomaly/ACE Content, Paramount, WME, National Geographic, and others. Michael also worked at Apple Inc. as a Senior Manager of Creative and Strategy for iAd, where they led a creative and strategy practice for the mobile advertising platform.

Earlier in their career, Michael Shimbo served as the VP of Digital Content and Strategy and the General Manager of LIVE DAILY (ld) at Live Nation, where they created and led the company's global content strategy. Michael also founded and served as the COO of Stingray's CONCERT.TV, the world's first VOD network dedicated to live music performance, lifestyle, and culture.

Furthermore, Michael Shimbo has provided advisory services as an Advisor at The Design Museum.
