Bekir Okalper

Bekir Okalper currently serves as the EU Scholarship Coordinator at Goethe-Institut e.V. since September 2022 and holds the position of Global Schools' Advocate with the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network – Youth since August 2019. Previously, Bekir worked as an ELT Instructor at the University of Kyrenia and founded Expanding Horizons Curriculum, a program aimed at empowering youth to engage with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Other roles include English teaching positions at Coenecoop College, Heldring VMBO, and Amerikan Kültür Dil Okulları, along with a customer service specialist role at Netflix. Bekir's educational background includes a BA (Hons) in English Language Teaching from Near East University, as well as various teacher training certifications from respected institutions like Trinity College Dublin and The TEFL Academy.
