Christina Steenken

Christina Steenken has extensive experience in political communication, currently serving as a Referentin des Präsidenten at Goethe-Institut e.V. since November 2015, where responsibilities include drafting speeches, event management for the Goethe-Medaille, media support, and overseeing tasks related to the president’s directives. Christina also held roles as a Pressereferentin and Projektreferentin, leading a project on professional knowledge and contact management. Prior to this, experience includes freelance writing for taz, die Tageszeitung, and volunteer work with Politikfabrik e.V. during the 2014 European elections. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Political Science from Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Universität Osnabrück, along with study at the University of Oslo.
