Akash Verma

Akash Verma has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Akash most recently worked as a Software Engineering Manager at Evive, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate Engineering Manager - Software Development at the same company from January 2022 to March 2023, where they managed two full-stack engineering teams.

Akash also worked as a Technical Lead at Evive from January 2021 to January 2022, where they were responsible for building systems for user identification, registration, authentication, and authorization. Akash also led efforts in enhancing and modernizing frontend development capabilities and architecture.

Before joining Evive, Akash worked as a Lead Software Engineer from July 2018 to December 2020, where they led a team in building the frontend of the Planchoice product. Akash also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Evive from July 2017 to June 2018, where they contributed to migrating the frontend of the MyEvive product from jQuery to React.

Additionally, Akash has experience working at Cerner Corporation as a Technology Consultant- Integration & Interoperability from July 2016 to June 2017. Akash also worked as an Intern at Cerner Corporation from January 2016 to June 2016.

Prior to their corporate experience, Akash held roles at Student Council, MIT Manipal, Tata Motors, and SolarMobil Manipal. At Student Council, they served as the Technical Secretary from November 2014 to November 2015, where they managed technical clubs and student projects. At Tata Motors, they worked as a Summer Intern in May 2015. At SolarMobil Manipal, they held the role of Sensor Subsystem Head from January 2013 to September 2014, focusing on installing sensors on a solar vehicle.

Akash also worked as a Summer Intern at Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd in May 2014.

Akash Verma completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Kulachi Hansraj Model School in New Delhi from 2010 to 2012, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Physics, Maths, and Chemistry. Before that, from 2008 to 2010, they attended Sunshine Prep/High School and completed their 10th grade education.

In addition to their formal education, Akash Verma has obtained several certifications. In December 2019, they completed the certification course "Product Management: Building a Product Roadmap" from LinkedIn. In October 2019, they completed the certification courses "Agile Software Development" and "Product Management First Steps" from LinkedIn, as well as "UX Foundations: Accessibility." Earlier, in July 2015, they obtained a certification in "Network Solutions and IP Addressing" from Nettech Private Limited. Most recently, in April 2020, they obtained the certification "Google Analytics for Beginners" from Google.
