Marcelo Nascimento has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. In 2012, they began as a Tester at RP Informática, where they were responsible for getting issues from customers, reproducing and debugging them in a controlled environment. Marcelo also developed a Java-based software to interface data between different systems. In 2013, Marcelo joined ExxonMobil as a System Architect at EMIT Chemicals Pricing, where they were responsible for building the architecture and overseeing the implementation of a new Pricing execution system for Chemicals. Marcelo then moved on to Lead Developer at EMIT Evolve, where they were responsible for code and pipeline migration from ADO to GitHub, GitHub Actions deploying to Azure App Service, CI/CD Pipelines security updates, bug fixes, and user interviews. Marcelo then served as a Technical Coach at EMIT Evolve, working as a technical coach in an Agile Transformation team and helping to collaborate and reduce technical debt in other teams across the organization. Marcelo also acted as the Scrum Master for the Technical Coach team. In 2021, Marcelo joined CI&T as a System Architect, overseeing a development team responsible for delivering infrastructure, features and bug fixes to a large international healthcare client. Marcelo is currently working at Wholechain as a Software Engineer, focusing on the backend architecture, integration and development of the Wholechain traceability solution.

Marcelo Nascimento has an extensive education history. Marcelo completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná. Marcelo then attended Apple Developer Academy PUCPR for iOS Development. Most recently, they completed Graduate Studies in User Centered Design - User Interaction at Universidade Positivo.
