Jonathan Yelland

Jonathan Yelland is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Principal for Learning and Teaching at Goffs Academy since August 2019, following roles as Associate Assistant Principal for Technology for Learning and Teaching and Mathematics and Economics Teacher at the same institution. Yelland began a teaching career as a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) in Mathematics at Goffs Academy after contributing as a Student Teacher at Highlands. Prior to education, Yelland held significant positions at Tesco PLC from September 1997 to May 2015, culminating as Programme Manager in Multi Channel Operations Development, leading teams and managing substantial budgets. Additional experience includes a tenure at The Fairtrade Foundation, where Yelland managed major public engagement campaigns and strategic planning initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics from The University of Sheffield.
