Ashlyn Iwatani

Ashlyn Hermsmeier is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in both corporate and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accounting Manager at GoFundMe since March 2019, Ashlyn has advanced through various accounting positions, including Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant. Prior experience includes a tenure at EY from August 2015 to March 2019, where Ashlyn held titles of Assurance Senior and Assurance Associate. Educationally, Ashlyn earned a degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University, where involvement included serving as a Peer Advisor and Executive Board Member at the Leavey School of Business. This role included managing the Peer Advisor program, advising incoming freshmen, and facilitating their academic and college transition.
