Margaret Richardson

Margaret Richardson is the current Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at GoFundMe. Margaret has also worked at Apple as the Trust & Safety from August 2020 to May 2022. Prior to that, they were with Pipeline Angels and Airbnb as the Vice President of Trust from August 2016 to August 2020. Margaret has also worked as Of Counsel at Covington & Burling LLP from July 2015 to August 2016. Margaret started their career as the Chief Of Staff and Counselor to the Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice from January 2009 to April 2015. Margaret was also a part of Obama for America as the Staff from December 2007 to November 2008. Her first job was as the Director, Clean Slate Practice at East Bay Community Law Center from December 2004 to December 2007.

Margaret Richardson attended the National Cathedral School before going on to the University of Virginia for their BA in Margaret'story. After working for several years, they decided to pursue a JD at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law. After law school, they worked for the US government in various leadership positions before attending Harvard Kennedy School for their MPA in Leadership.
