Patrick Shampine

Patrick Shampine has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Patrick has been working at GoFundMe since 2017, starting as a Software Engineer and gradually progressing to becoming a Software Engineering Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering. Before joining GoFundMe, they worked at CrowdRise as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Lead Web Developer at Gunn/Jerkens Marketing Communications. Patrick also co-founded a startup called Startup and Play in 2012. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in web development, internet marketing, and SEO. Patrick started their professional journey as an Intern at Partech International and later worked at Best Buy as a Geek Squad Supervisor.

Patrick Shampine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Economics from East Carolina University, which they completed between 2007 and 2009. Patrick also attended Mohawk Valley Community College in 2006, studying Computer Science, and Utica College of Syracuse University from 2004 to 2005, also studying Computer Science.
