Carlos Yang started their work experience as a Software Engineer at Compro Technologies in 2008. There, they worked on various projects such as Linux embedded CGI web programming, standalone timer systems, and Windows MFC and DirectShow software programming. In 2011, they joined HTC as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on developing Android apps, specifically file browsing and location apps. Carlos worked at HTC for a total of 3.5 years. In 2015, they moved to Leopard Mobile as a Research and Development Engineer. After two years, they transitioned to Gogolook in 2017, initially as a Lead Engineer and later as a Senior Engineering Manager starting in July 2020.
Carlos Yang earned their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University, where they studied from 2001 to 2008. Carlos then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same university, completing it from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Carlos also obtained several certifications in subjects related to machine learning and neural networks, such as "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects." These certifications were obtained from Coursera in December 2019.
