Alan Nichols has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Alan started their career at Rank Cintel as a Test Department & Field Service Engineer. Alan then worked at SkyDome as a Province of Ontario Staff Engineer, where they received training in Digital HD recording systems. Alan went on to work at Azteca America as a NOC Manager & Engineering Projects Manager, where they designed and built a $12 million dollar NOC uplink center. Alan also worked at AJN RF ENGINEERING as an Owner, and at DirecTV NEUF & NEDF as a Satellite Systems Integration Engineering Lead, where they built HD MPEG-4 Satellite KA uplink systems. Alan also worked at Total Comm Systems, Inc. as a Project Manager Plano Office and at CBS Affiliate as a Chief Engineer, where they played a significant role in the design and conversion of television stations to HD systems. Currently, Alan is a Co-Owner at GoGreenLocally Org., where they focus on the organization's mission, podcasts, and videos.
Alan Nichols attended LIU Post to study Engineering Science and later transferred to the University of Pennsylvania to pursue Computer Science.
