Jeanette also served as the Assistant to the Associate Superintendent, providing advice on internal policies and regulations, managing large-scale projects, and overseeing Chromebook distribution during the COVID-19 pandemic. As an Assistant General Counsel, they provided legal services on transactional matters involving public procurement, board governance, student data privacy and security, and technology implementation.

Jeanette's early career includes experience as a Senior Staff Attorney at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC, where they managed programs in Voting Rights and Equal Opportunity, and as an Associate Attorney at Linowes and Blocher LLP, specializing in real estate transactions and complex development projects.
