Carter Smith

Carter Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and community engagement within the Boy Scouts of America and the travel industry. Currently serves as a Luxury Travel Passenger Advocate at Gohagan Travel since April 2022. Previous roles include District Executive for the Atlanta Area Council, overseeing scouting needs across a 1000-square-mile territory, and Camp Director, where team-building and training were paramount. Additional experience includes positions in community engagement with the San Diego River Park Foundation, and various leadership roles with the Boy Scouts, focusing on wilderness education and safety. Carter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Administration from San Diego State University and an Associate’s Degree in Geography from San Diego Mesa College.
